Today I find difficult...only cause its a self portrait! Seriously I have a hard time taking my own picture! BUT here it is! In all its glory. Me. Today! Just your average mom!

WOW can I say challenge (I know you are thinking DUH Leish...hence why its called a PHOTO CHALLENGE!) OK...so we have had some pretty nice days the past few weeks! LOTS of bright sunshine filling our days AND THEN the challenge day calls for sun. Then it is no where to be found! So, my sweet daughter drew one for me!

Last night I went to dinner with some pretty special friends of mine! OK so it is a mom (who is also my discipleship mentor!) and her two gorgeous girls (one of which babysits my kiddos) and the other who is my fave barista at Starbucks AND I am doing her jewelry for her, her bridesmaids and of course the flower girl! Seriously they should be called family (we dubbed me an honorary daughter last night...cause I am cool like that yo!)
No but really...I was going to take this fun picture of all of us at dinner. And. I forgot! No joke! I came home and went AW CRUD...may have said different words but I will keep my post PG 13! So instead...I took a picture of my dinner AFTER I got home! Works right?! So here is day 6: Dinner
I was trying to feed Mush some food this morning. She was getting mad! Each time I tried more she would get more and more frustrated! SO I was pushing her "buttons"! HA!
Tomorrows MAY BE challenging! It's Sun. Which is usually a rare anomaly this time of year in Oregon! We have had some gorgeous weather the past 2 weeks...but on my way home from work tonight. It was sprinkling. I may have to get creative here!
I have to say I am NOT regretting doing this photo challenge one bit! If you are new here and are wondering what in the world I am talking about please go HERE!!
I was going to do a recipe tonight. But my dear one is asleep (snoring) behind me! Because of this I am typing in the dark and cannot really read the recipe all to well! I will share it tomorrow! It is a recipe (tweaked a bit) from someone I adore!! Let's just say its WAY too yummy for words!

I know...its the 6th! BUT we were totally caught up in parties yesterday so I never got a chance to get my photo challenge uploaded!! I am super excited though (totally unrelated to the photo challenge!) my dear friend Kara asked me if I would be interested in helping run a segment for moms of businesses (SAHM type) cause we are all struggling to make it in this world, this economy and in this life! We decided today the name will be Proverbs 31 Mama-prenuers! So stay tuned we will be coming at ya with spotlights from businesses and working together to empower each other and help focus on each others strengths in such a negative economy and challenging time! Our goal is to help bring focus to what's important, giving tips, ideas, answer questions and have some fun along the way!! I don't wanna spill all the beans now...but just know it is SO beyond awesome!

Today I had the honor of meeting a BEAUTIFUL stranger! My friend Erica welcomed sweet "Tori" Joy into their family last week! I wanted to stick her in my bag and run out the door! I love her SO much!! She stared at me while I rocked her and just watched my every move! She held my finger and my heart melted! I think as a friend its an absolute honor to be able to come into a home (your friends I mean!) and love up on their children the way you would love up on your own. I think that speaks TRUE and perfect friendship. This child is fearfully and wonderfully made and loved by so many already. Thank you Erica for being my "twin"! Love you girlie!!
