Embroidery Hoop Art

I wanted to add a shabby chic, rustic element to our bedroom redo. So I found a whole bunch of various sized embroidery hoops at Joanne's Fabrics!


As you can see I had a very cute assistant! She loves to tag along! We also bought different fabrics. Including lace and a doily for extra added affect!




You are first going to lay out your fabric and set your center portion of your embroidery hoop down. You will then flip it over and put the top hoop layer over the top portion (see middle picture!) Tighten the clasp up tight and you will then...



Cut around the fabric leaving only a small amount (this does NOT apply to the lace! Cut the lace as close as possible!!) and then using a glue gun glue the edges down inside of your hoop! Its that easy!! Have a blessed day!
