I took this picture of my son yesterday as he bowed his head in prayer at his preschool! It melted my heart as I felt in that moment I had done my part as a mom, as a daughter of God and as a follower of Jesus. His eyes were squeezed tightly closed. His lips were silent and his head was bowed. I am blessed every day by these little people I call my children.

Lord, I pray that your love and your light shines like a beacon in the night, through them. I pray when they speak and they play that their hearts are filled with joy and others will be able to see you through them. I pray that they will learn to have the hands and feet of Jesus. That they will walk the walk and not just talk the talk. I pray for protection and safety everyday. And the gift of laughter and love. - Its in your name I pray...
