I know. I know! Y'all are thinkin' we JUST HAD a recipe yesterday! BUT I promise, this recipe is all that and a bag of Frito's! SO good I promise...and my fave part of all? It is SO easy! This is another Pinterest find from the blog Chocolate Therapy! The great part about this recipe is you can easily add/omit items as you please! I wanted to add a can of black beans to the crock pot, but my tried and true stock pile did not have any on the shelves! So I went with what I had and don't regret it one bit!!
3 ingredients...do you think you can handle this?!
Combine 1 jar of salsa (I used La Victoria as it was on sale and I had a coupon!) and 1 packet of taco seasoning (mix together and throw in your crock pot!) then place in 3 frozen chicken breasts!
Really...that's it! It is so simple it should be illegal! I turned my crock pot on HIGH but I wanted it to be done before I left to teach!
Remember BE creative! Add black beans, corn etc to your recipe! I have even heard someone say they add a can of Cream of Mushroom soup to it! Now to me...that sounds disgusting! BUT I can't knock it till I try it right?!
I chopped up: Cilantro, lettuce, tomato, avocado, olives and we put sour cream on them and rolled them like a burrito in flour tortillas (we stick our tortilla shells in between two wet napkins (rung out of course!) and microwave 1 minute) makes them soft and warm! You could use this to make a taco salad too! AND what a great easy recipe in time for Super Bowl Sunday!! Barely any work at all (hardest part is shredding the chicken...but really that was not hard at all!)
Have a blessed day! Tomorrow I will share a tutorial for a bracelet I made for a friends birthday! I can't share it yet as she hasn't seen it yet! Need to make sure she likes it first!
