I am particular on my music. Especially worship music. The songs that speak most to my heart are typically done LIVE vs. in the studio. Being able to hear an audience singing along with the artist. Being able to hear special add in to the words or music. I feel like I am in the same room. My arms are reaching far above my head and I am right there with them pouring out my own praise.
Previewing the latest and greatest Passion "Whole Heart" album leaves me silenced. I have the words to type, but even as I write the very post about the album I find my eyes closing and my body swaying along to the music. THIS is praiseworthy music. Music that I can feel throughout my entire body down to my toes. Wearing headphones so the sounds of the world around me are silenced. Leaving the worries of the day as I just pause. Pause in silence of just pure worship. Thank you Jesus for this opportunity.
What can I say about this CD? YOU need to listen. You need to experience for yourself. With artists like: Matt Redman, Crowder, Tauren Wells, just to name a few. Truly. Speechless.
I cried when I first heard 'All My Hope' was on the album as it is MY living anthem. And I am crying again as the lyrics fill my eardrums. "I've been washed by the blood" "He picked me up and showed me what it meant to be a (wo)man" --- duh have to change the lyrics as if I was singing!
