Do you remember in school when you would walk around with a "secret" notebook and inside you would fill ask your friends questions etc. and you would keep track of "Oh Jessie LOVES Ryan!!" and pass the book back and forth?! Same thing...but blogger style! Oh yea! lol! The rule is you are:

1. What are your favorite blogs and why?
Can I just say how glad I am that there is an (S) at the end of blog! HA! I completely became addicted to blogging thanks to Cheri of I am momma hear me roar! Became ridiculously inspired by Jill of Meet the Dubiens and of course I cannot forget the girls of Eighteen25. Each blog has something different. Cheri is a master at re-furbishing old clothes into something amazing (and she is super incredibly sweet when you email her a question too!), Jill is so creative when it comes to making fun food for her kids and has great tutorials on everything from lip glass made with kool-aid and Vaseline to finger painting style artwork with your kids. And do I even need to explain the sisters of Eighteen25?! I mean come on...if you can't just peak into their blog and know WHY I adore them...your crazy!

I was friends with everyone! I was every ones little sister!

3. Does this affect your blogging in world full of "mostly" women bloggers?
I don't think it matters one way or another! I am the "same" person inside I have always been! Shy (shocker!), sensitive and I am always worried about how others feel. I love to meet new people, make new friends and be around those that inspire me to be a better person...wife...mother and friend.

4. What is your background, nationality, family history or upbringing?
I was raised by a single mom for most of my life. She worked 2 jobs and I had a lot of days/nights alone where I was constantly crafting and creating. I am Native American. Cherokee and Sioux with a little bit of awesome thrown in for good measure! HA! I am a farm girl. Proud of it and will always have a very strong attachment to large, red, old, wooden buildings! They draw me in! I love wide open spaces, animals and being amongst the silence of the country. My roots were deeply planted and will stay that way forever. I often times listen to Miranda Lambert's - The house that built me and feel like I am the one that wrote it! It is the melody in my heart.

5. If you could magically acquire 1 attribute that comes naturally to one of your close friends, what would it be?
Shoot. One?! I guess it would be confidence. I am overly sensitive and therefore it shows as a lack in confidence. I worry about how others perceive me and some days I wish I just didn't care! I am easily brought to tears!

6. If you could go back in time at some point in YOUR life, what would it be and why?
I would go back and tell the Middle School/HS Girl of me not to worry about how mean some kids were. Their teasing me about being petite and having big ears doesn't matter. I will meet someone who loves my ears and being small has its perks!

7. What accessory is a MUST HAVE for you?
Earrings! As soon as I get outta the shower and blow dry my hair I immediately put on a pair! I am completely addicted to the Color me Happy ones I have in my Etsy shop! Wear them everywhere and get the most compliments! LOVE it!

8. Are you an open blogger? (do you speak your own heart and thoughts) Or do you choose not too or have a hard time being vulnerable?
The way I look at it...is it's my blog. I want my readers to hear from me. The real me. Not someone who is typing and overly anal-izing (yep) the words that I write. I want my readers to hear my voice not hallmark card me!

9. MONDAY morning 10 a.m., what are you doing?
Well usually I have dropped off my daughter at school, gone through the drive-thru of Starbucks and am heading home to work on whatever project, craft or post I need to get done. If I haven't already then you could find me wrapped back up in my blankies, in my comfymaternity yoga pants that I can't seem to part with; with 3 of my favorite devotionals and my bible in my lap. Getting into the BIG man's word.

I am often times in jeans (britches) and I LOVE me some amazing cowboy boots (boots) which I currently need to find an amazing price on a cute pair! You find some you let me know! I am a 6 1/2 or 7 women's! And my "A lil' place I call home" signifies my life! I had Carrie of Ink & Mouse create the old truck as I can't get enough of them!
